The song was produced by Hiss Noise and Adora and is credited as such. Tae did however co-write lyrics and melody. Namjoon is also a credited lyricist in the song. I think you are maybe thinking of Scenery which was solely composed and written by V. (Even then it was produced by DOCSKIM) or Sweet Night which was co-produced, co-written and co-composed by Tae. 💜

Taehyung used to be called Honey Bear, baby bear and also Teddybear (Gomdori) by his Father, mother, grandmother and also friends. He referenced this in early fanmeetings esp his father calling him that as well as their 2020 season’s greetings. In Korea Taehyung is referred to as Gomdori which is basically Teddy Bear. Members refer to him as Gomdori (teddy bear too). Korean fans a lot of the time refer to him as Gomdori, The editing team in Run BTS refer to Tae as Teddybear (Gomdori) in the captions as well as other content… the problem is that a lot of the time it doesn’t get translated in subs so I feel International fans are less in the know. But Tae described it best when he said Kim Taehyung the person is the Teddybear, and V the stage performer in concerts is Tiger V. Once this clicks you realise that the true Tae is the Teddybear Tae And on stage him the tiger is the persona when he performs. (Originally his animal associated with him was lion (but think of it more as simba just to be even more confusing) The song was produced by Hiss Noise and Adora, and Tae co-wrote melody and lyrics. But this is very much Tae’s vision. It was released for free on Soundcould and the music video was a gift to us from Tae. Namjoon is also credited as a lyricist. I believe he helped Tae with English translations. Tae also specifically wanted to use English so that all ARMY could enjoy it. The music video it was directed by Tae, and JK and (I believe lesser extent) Hobi contributed in the filming of it. It has behind the scenes footage of their tours. Many will recognise his outfits from after Run BTS episodes. I don’t remember where the reference to Hobi’s involvement was corroborated but JK’s was confirmed by their mentioning it in one of their docu’s where JK himself says we filmed scenes for Winter bear here, and it was also why the reaction video to Winter Bear includes Tae and JK’s reaction to it but they never made it a big known thing at the time, just referred to it in passing. The title cover with the two little bear figurines… the bear figurines are a gift from Jimin. You will later see the origins of it in Run BTS later. The cover Art is by Tae under his photography pseudonym Vante. Which he no longer uses. Chronologically this is after Singularity Tae’s BTS solo in 2018 was released. I highly recommend Tae’s Scenery (written composed by him entirely as a gift to ARMY, Sweet Night, co-produced, co-written co-composed by him, and Christmas Tree (not a Christmas song) written specifically with him in mind to sing. Tae has song high vocals in many songs, problem is because you were not familiar with his voice and his falsetto and head voice early on, when you reacted to them you didn’t recognise it. But Tae’s range including 2017 Stigma should really be old news to most by now. But sometimes even fans don’t pick out his high vocals and assume he is singing the lower melody when in fact he is singing the higher one. For Us and Blue also involve his falsetto’s. In regards to the song, the About Time reference is factually correct, and many do relate it to his grandmother. Because of I believe the fact that the Blue Parrot is an extinct bird which is referenced in the lyrics. As well as the ‘Imagine your face say hello to me, then all the bad days they’re nothing to me.’ The instruments included in the song and credited on soundcould at time of release include: Cello, Violin, Bass, Guitar, Mellotron, Synthesizer and PDogg is credited for the String Arrangement. Tae’s solo songs are all about the musicality of real instruments and natural vocals. Basically the star is genuine music, no gimmicks. 💜

My fave V solo of all-time is INNER CHILD, but FOR US is a runner-up🥰 He wrote Winter Bear as a tribute to his late grandma expressing his longing and wishing her rest in peace. The music video, directed by V himself, features footage from BTS's world tour, showcasing stunning views of cities like London, Paris, and New York. Interestingly, the cover art of "Winter Bear" has a special story as well. It features two bear figurines gifted by Jimin to V, which symbolize their friendship and thoughtfulness. I almost didn't watch this. It strikes a very emotional chord for me. It reminds me of my sister, who I lost in 2006, and I cry every time. Love this song. I listen to it like a lullaby at night, along with Sweet Night, and another lesser-known gem (released for free/non-BTS-group song) "Scenery" (haven't seen anyone mention the latter in the comments so far).
