Commenting just to say that I love the podcast. I definitely don’t watch every KZbin video, but I one hundred percent listen to every pod. Thank you.

😁👍Looks Sweet! I like the gearbox and parts but I wonder why they went with a 3d print and why not mass produce them I think it would make them more affordable. 👍Nice showcase.

Wow Tony, that is beautiful. I need a couple of them roll bars , I have three USA-1 bodies, I painted one black, and the other pearl white, with the sticker sheet , not as nice as that sticker sheet , my third one I got off of eBay about four years ago, In the original USA-1 box . It's still in the box, eight done nothing with it yet. I even have two sets of the triple carburetors, well I guess you'd call them predators . Definitely have to get me this body , that is beautiful

👏👏👏👏 to J Concepts and all the cool products they're coming out with. Really getting a fire under me for getting back into messing with my Clodbusters and getting involved with other r/c trucks like the Losi LMT.

It is a great looking truck with a lot of nice parts. I wonder what the axles are printed out of, as PLA is pretty brittle and breaks easy.

are people doing anything about over travel for the axles??? i have an aluminum chassis, and when the truck jumps, the axles drop quite abruptly and put alot of stress on my shocks.

@@rcnitrohead3239 I don’t know what to tell you. We broke the light bar into a bunch of pieces. It was 3d printed off their shapeways store and sanded and painted by Fred Reep

This is basically what im looking to build over time. I've never owned a clod buster. My question is, should I still just buy and start with a clod buster kit. Or build a fully custom clod from scratch with aftermarket parts?
@CCxRC2 жыл бұрын
I thinks it’s still cheaper to get a kit on sale then to piece it together

With brushed motors so cheap these days it’s sad to see a manufacturer selling a kit with a closed end bell motor
@CCxRC3 жыл бұрын
It’s required for most all retro Monster truck classes. So they made a motor that could be raced or used in crawlers. It’s the knot way to make sure people aren’t messing with their motors to get more speed.

Probably about $1000 of you don’t have a donor truck already.

You have to wonder. At what point does it stop being a Clod Buster, and just a brand new JConcepts solid axle truck? There does not seem to be anything stock on this rig that is identifiable as coming from Tamiya! Beautiful truck though, don't get me wrong.
@CCxRC4 жыл бұрын
It’s more clod-based than a clod buster, but it fits with the parameters of most race retro rules, which is what I think they were going for.
