The problem I have with the whole "anyone can romance anyone" thing in games, is that it means writing characters that can romance anyone. Because of this, the writing and romance story ends up becoming extremely generic because they have to be applicable every option. Even if you just have romance options that "swing that way", you still have to write characters that "swing either way", which means making the writing more generic. It's another one of those cases in games where more choice results in worse storytelling.

It's why I say leave that stuff out! It's not real romance or even a semblance of the real thing, it can't be done "properly" so just leave it out.

The solution would be to give the player the option to switch their characters gender whenever they want and make the characters appearance seperate

CDPR is cooked. The writing has been on the wall for a while. It's actually surprising to me that 2077 wasn't a lot worse than it was.

@@exysa2798 no it wasn’t dude quit exaggerating. The worst part of cp2077 was the removal of buyable crafting components and the removal of certain quick and easy money exploits (it’s a simple player game why not let them cheat sometimes)
