hey man, cool vid. I started collecting in the 80s with vinyl and tapes, but when death metal classics like Altars of Madness and Left Hand Path were available on CD in the late 80s, I switched over. Several CDs would have cd only bonus tracks back then (like Nocturnus 'The Key') which made the extra expense justifiable to me in many cases. These days, it's a toss up between CD and digital either due to initial cost or postage costs.

CDs all the way. There's nothing cooler than having your collection all lined up on shelves in rows, it's a thing of fucking beauty.

I still have my iPod and it still works. Not my primary way of listening to music, but I can hook it up to my car which is convenient.

I only collect CDs now because records cost too much and I don't got the money. And records take up too much room... But I still collect and have bought at least 10 CDs in the last 2 weeks... I still have my old records though
