Great train. Thanks for showing a nice collection of models. I captured the same train in Berlin in 2018 and the driver invited me into the cab for a look. Many of their class 380s have graphical designs on the sides. Märklin do nice models of the 1st and 2nd class coaches with different numbers, but not the dining car.

Thanks Kim. I have tried to recreate the character of the train with what was available at the time. Two of the coaches are only intended as stopgaps, but may be in service for some time to come. We're off to Scandinavia next year for a few weeks, so I may be able to find something in the shops there.

Märklin are offering a 383 with sound new for 2025. Only in 3 rail.

@@jeffreylynn135 They usually show a Trix version of one is to be released. Not this time. This model has the full sided CD Cargo graphics, probably not correct for the passenger trains. Hope you enjoy Scandinavia. Very pleasant places. I have a not very good video on my channel of the CD psssenger train.
