This build is painful to use. Im in NG+6, with the full armor set, trinket, spear, black ant pet, and the meal but the mantis one shots me regardless with full HP. Any suggestions?

If you didn’t collect majority of the molars in previous ng+s to upgrade hp this build will be difficult. I suggest you use the spicy safety mutation if your having trouble.

6:56, uh, medium also has pet invincibility on by default

@@CDiinkycan confirm pet is invincible in medium was also using a black baby ant in my save not even new game plus yet cause it’s a remade save but it does have invincibility on for me aswell.

I'd put on the crit mutations as well since the black ant armor has crit related effects.

Im surprised there wasn't a rose thorn or splinter thorns armor that did bleed and thorns damage by default. Cause we have a set for just about everything else tbh

Im in new game 7 and i use red strategist set and i widow dagger and as a trinket i have more thorn aggro and crit zi

Do I need the trinket It's probably extremely hard to get because y'know I can't choose the buffs and stuff Can I use another trinket instead

Grounded noob here! How do you actually ‘activate’ the thorns? I feel like I followed this perfectly other than the trinket because I’m not in ng+

If you have any thorns gear / trinkets. Any damage you take a % of that damage will be reflected back.

Sadly no, For a summon builds you want to use items that give +summon thorns.

Incredibly rare even while save scumming its incredibly rare to get 2 or 3 of the same perk type

Question. Can you go above ng 11+, or is it more or less pointless as you don't get a new "icon" beyond a toast with an X+

​@@UnkemptHerald I'm in NG+ 12, and the icon just stays like it was NG+ 10. The game does continue to get harder, but there's no point in going higher. Your stats can still go higher though, if anyone wanted an insane amount of regen or something, mines like 11k or 20k, I forgot.

Looks easy but I love the "extremely" easy to build. I'm flat out getting 1 weapon to 13 in weeks of ng+2 farming brood mother and red ants.

If you don't have the black ant pet then yes go for it, otherwise no as this will reduce you damage further.

It's done with new content. It's possible the devs have moved on to Grounded 2 early development. Obsidian is focused on Avowed for the time being, but after there is an unannounced project in their pipeline. Could be something fallout related, could be a completely new ip, could be the sequel to grounded.
