I'm going to be doing me cab inspection and walk-around inspection tomorrow morning, after working a 12 hour night shift as a yard dog. I've had 5 hours of sleep and am stressing a little bit. This vid has helped me quite a bit, actually seeing and hearing it done instead of just memorizing the sheet of paper my company gave me. Wish me luck! My company is paying for a CDL class A with hazmat endorsement so I'm not going to miss the opportunity.

This video was GREAT before watching the experience of CDL schooling in real time. However, we still plan to patronize this school in NJ in the future.

Not bad.. I know you dont technically need your seatbelt on first because you're not moving but I still prefer to start with that only in case the examiner might be having a bad day... also so i dont forget before my tug and service brake test...

I assume you chock front and back of the tire, but do you have to chock both sides of the vehicle? Also are the drive wheels or the steer wheels preferred, or does that matter?
@AmericanTrucker89 Жыл бұрын
I thought we only had to do the 4psi in one minute, no 3 psi and air pressure stabilize the 3 psi is for the old in cab right cuz, i thought we only do the 4psi with break pressed and low air and 2 valves pop out
@jellymelonxo10 ай бұрын
You’re right, no need to worry about the 3psi portion, just the 4 in one minute

Between automatic and stick shift what's better for the test
@CDLDrivingAcademy11 ай бұрын
Automatic is by default easier because you do not have to focus on it during the road portion of the road test. Still, shifting is a good skill to have just in case!
