My stupid ass was watching your passenger endorsement videos thinking they were a combination of general knowledge and passenger endorsement. I just went to take the test and got 31 out of 50 on the general knowledge and 16 out of 20 on the passenger endorsement thanks to you. Yes, and that would be because the content is derived from the AAMVA, yet with that being said, I don't believe that you should rely solely on these questions and answers when you go to test. Please refer to the Arizona CDL manual for more in-depth study. www.azdot.gov/docs/default-source/mvd-forms-pubs/40-7802.pdf Please refer to Figure 1.2 in Section 1 for what you should study.

It's for all of them. The FMCSA caused the AAMVA to create the manual for the various states, which the vast majority of them use and make available to their state citizens.

That's tough. I know how it is. I failed one of my endorsements. It wasn't because I didn't know the material. I did. The damn computer that I was taking the test on was so temperamental. It was hard to lock my answers in, but I passed the test the next go around, and I'm sure you'll do the same with your GK test. For the most part, yes. However, that wouldn't include any state-specific questions. If you're not sure about what state-specific questions are, then check out my video on state-specific questions at kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4S1YpyVadinjMkm37s Now after reviewing the Indiana CDL manual at www.in.gov/bmv/files/CDL_Manual.pdf I did notice that there is some state-specific material starting on PDF page 3/165 to PDF page 6/165. So, there is about three pages of state-specific content in that manual, and the rest of the content appears to be supplied by the AAMVA. Thanks for watching my videos. With respect to California, I suggest you carefully study their CDL manual. www.dmv.ca.gov/web/eng_pdf/comlhdbk.pdf And, the reason I make that suggestion is because their manual is significantly larger than the basic AAMVA-derived CDL manual. For example, the Cal. CDL manual is larger with 208 pages compared to 152 pages of the FMCSA's model CDL manual. The California's CDL manual's chart for "Determining Class of CDL Required" on Page 1-8 is a little different from the FMCSA's version at goo.gl/FfkAAp

Will this help me get my Class A CDL in NC. Ive read the CDL manual and taken the General Knowledge twiice....this test is very diffcult !!! They make it very hard. Ive passed my air brakes and combination test... Do you have any suggestions on what will help me pass...The test is not correct with the book. It seems a little help is in order. Carolina's CDL manual is based on content from the AAMVA. I suggest you watch the following series: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGbSaqKdmqt-l8U I've had several subscribers thank me for it because they've said that it helped them pass the general knowledge exam after viewing it. One subscriber even said he converted it to an MP3 and listened to it every day for a week on his way to and from work. He said he passed the GK exam on the first try. I believe it does, yes, and I would say that is so because the content we're studying here is ultimately derived from content provided by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. With that being said, when studying, I don't believe that you should rely solely on these questions and answers sessions, and I would suggest that you regularly refer to your Nebraska CDL manual for more in-depth study. Please refer to dmv.nebraska.gov/sites/dmv.nebraska.gov/files/doc/manuals/cdl_manual.pdf Once there, please refer to Figure 1.2 in Section 1 for what you should study. Hi, Carlos. Thanks for the question. Sure. That's because its content is derived from the AAMVA. Remember that the main determinant as to whether you need a Class B CDL license is your answer to the question in Figure 1.1 of Section 1.0: "Is the GVWR of the power unit 26,001 or more pounds?" If the answer is "Yes," then you need a Class "B". If the answer is "No," then you would need to proceed to the next question in that flow chart. The thing is they have a pool of questions, so you never know which question that you will receive. A question that you see here may or may not be on the exam. Of course, because we're dealing with different countries here, they won't be exactly the same; with that being said, I believe that for the most part, they would have to be close because of reciprocity in honoring each others' licenses, but check out Commercial Drivers License Reciprocity With Canada at the FMCSA website at www.fmcsa.dot.gov/international-programs/commercial-drivers-license-reciprocity-canada-notice-and-technical-amendment The Federal Highway Administration has determined that commercial drivers' licenses issued by Canadian jurisdictions under the Canadian National Safety Code MEET the commercial driver testing and licensing standards contained in 49 CFR Part 383. Accordingly, a commercial driver's license issued by a Canadian jurisdiction in conformity with the Canadian National Safety Code are considered to be the single commercial driver's license for operation in the United States by Canadian drivers.

Per my understanding, there isn't one CDL General Knowledge exam for a Class A, another one for Class B, and yet another one for Class C. The CDL General Knowledge Exam is for all Classes. Per my understanding, what determines what Class CDL that you will pursue begins with the GCWR and the GVWR.
