Call of Duty tournaments are very stressful for the players but in search and destroy, the crowd is quiet, the game is quiet, yet we have the Call of Duty League commentators SCREAMING what is going on during the game... you not wrong, it's incompetent for the commentators to think voicing a play by play over a mic and sound system during a tourney won't make a difference. gamers know they can still hear what's going on outside of the headphones. i honestly think commentary should only be for people watching at home.

Tbh It would be idiotic for them to turn down their volume at any point to try and hear an announcer or the crowd. It would be absolutely disorienting to hear all of that plus your teammates and game sound. If they’re that dumb to do that it explains why they lost in all fairness. Pros usually have their volume almost peaked to be able to get sound queues and hearing comms in game so I don’t know.🤷🏽‍♂️

Guys, if you ever played on lan it's really hard to listen to outside noise even with a simple headset, LAG just made their decision to check A and then check B when the clock was indicating 25 seconds are left. That's just common sense

This would be a question for havok or scump or a pro that’s competed. I don’t think the pros can hear commentators. That just wouldn’t make any sense as they literally narrate what everyone is doing. So unless someone’s been to an event. I think this question shouldn’t be asked to random KZbin watchers in comments. Like it be pretty common sense for them to know if they can hear them or not. I personally think it’s a stream commentary and actual event prob has their own. That would make most sense to me. The league isn’t that retarded and has been doing this for a while.

I’ve been to an event yes it is loud yes pros have talked about it some audio comes through mainly in search because people try to sound hoard but not to the point where you can hear every single thing apparently they use earphones for game and the headset to noise cancel the commentators audio

bro what?? 1. They were not gonna camp there all round, they just reset for a bit to see if Pred would push and get the pick. 2. After a while since nothing happened they push out and start clearing bomb sites. 3. You can legit see on the MINIMAP, Flames checks bottom blue to see if he went down, which Pred didn't. 4. Pred plants with ~27 seconds left on the clock, and they time him as they pushed out of blue and immediately see the plant. They may have not even seen bomb. Flames guns Shotzzy but quickly follows up with a read on blue, which no one was there. He sprints past the bomb and both watch opposite lanes. There is approximately ~30 on the clock, they think if he has the bomb, or is routing to plant, he was going to do it now. They both push up on A first, as it's the closest and get the pick as they see the plant and Pred pops out. Flames predicts the "plant", pre aims at bomb, and was about to continue to "B" till Estreal see's him and they both team shoot (Watch Flames). If LAG heard the announcer they woulda both just rushed no hesi before Pred even plants. If they knew where bomb was they would have just setup ON it, not turn their backs to it. You can see everything the players do. They wear headsets on top of IEM's. There is no way they were listening to announcers.

Its hard to say tbh. Since they killed 3 of the players in the same area they assumed the bomb is down in the general area. Both were sticking together to push together when the bomb is planted instead of splitting off to individually check each site and risk getting picked off in 1v1s. I would need more than this clip to really know if its cheats or not, but yes these players can hear the commentary. Rocket League pros have similar setups at lans and they always say they can hear everything outside of their games and comms with teammates.

This was the same in a csgo match before where a guy defused and the other team didnt check and just as the crowd and commentators was hyping up they rushed bomb as soon as they heard. They where going to save the guns that round but ran back killed him and died it looked very bad.

Everytime I see a streamer lobby, nobody shoots back. Sometimes it makes me wanna get VPN but then I ask myself, "Where's the fun in that?" I'm not skilled, I don't have the movement that most players have, but I'd rather win my matches legitimately.

Pro's listening to commentators has been going for years, and they definately need to bring sound booths back. But I don't think this clip proves they heard the commentator, it's obvious that pred has to get the bomb and plant. Running in pairs happens the whole time so they can trade the kill. Just my opinion tough :)

I played mw3 earlier and the game lagged the second a player appeared from behind a wall then proceeded to drop me through the map just to land back where I was and I missed my kill also the game ran perfectly fine afterwards

I agree that they heard the announcers because although the lag players had the angles covered for each other, neither of them could see the bomb get picked up from their angles and would have to actually check the bomb. You could argue probabilities and coincidence or luck too tho, 20sec left on clock, 1v2 chances are pred isn't laying and waiting somewhere he has to plant, they were closer to A so let's check a first then move to B, and pred happens to be at A. I think it's likely that they heard it but also I'm a dog shit player and I would have taken the same route around the same time lol

Ngl, when I saw the thumbnail I was thinking just another hackusation vid. But I was literally thinking this same thing while I was watching yesterday. Why do the announcers call play-by-play? It's hella dumb, idc if they can't hear it's still dumb. They can have commentators and analysts call play-by-play, but that should be for the viewers at home. The announcers in the arena need to chill with that. I've seen a few pros already admit they can hear the crowd cheers and even feel the rumble of the cheers and sometimes they try to use that.

Just in multiplayer in the last week I have come across at least 50 cheats under level 100 with 5 under level 50 with interstellar on their weapons. The undetectable console cheats are killing this game quicker than any pc cheats. You can only detect a console cheat if your connected to a pc. But as you can use a cronus zen with one port connected to your console and the other to a controller so there's no anti cheat that can stop console cheats. R.I.P online gaming

At this point, the game is in a very troubled state. There are still people using Cronus that aren't banned or people even running modded controllers or KBM setups with insane macros. By and large, walling seems to be the common go to cheat in most games. They all flood the whole fucking game with smoke and out of no where you are shot. Not sure what can save COD at this point. Even influencers are looking pretty stupid at this point.

This is a bad take. Not only do they have the noise cancelling but also the headsets are pumped with white noise. Secondly flames could of known Pred picks up the bomb there because Pred YY’s right next to flames and lastly they know that Pred has the info that they’re on that side of the map so A is open, if you have A cleared you aren’t planting B especially in a 2v1. That is easier to retake and they could have the cross so A is the obvious choice for Pred, pro’s understand all of this. Once they have the info Pred has bomb, in a 2v1 of course you are going to try catch him around the bomb you don’t want to give Pred chance to get away to the back windows where he can see everything from an insane heady. You have to remember pro’s understand timings to a different level.

Yeah the announcers mentioned shotzy dropped the bomb and the other team didn't know (look at their positioning only to cover themselves instead of covering themselves and the bomb position). IT was announced pred picked it up, and then they said he was @ A. The other team realized shotzy's position had the bomb and went to check, it's missing , and headed over the A to contest. I used to play OW a lot and watch the comp games, but yeah that was thing. Sometimes where the announcers gave away position or a team's intentions and it cost that team. But a team had to be really savvy and sometimes one member would wear headphones halfway on one ear and be the shot caller to let his team know announcer's call outs. But it was trade, the shot caller's head wasn't fully in the game. It often happened when a team would divvy up to flank . . . But team coaches could ask for a review and /or judges and make a call (even if sus, usually replay that round). Finally the announcers got smart and called out plays as it happened (like only call a flank once it was carried out other team felt the shots) and this was minimized.

players have commented on this exact thing. yes its an unfair advantage cause you're getting info thats not directly from the game BUT its chalked up to being LAN and these things happen. Octane spoke on how he could hear the crowd sometimes and would play clutches differently and same with Scump, Zoomaa, Aches, etc... so I get what your saying but its just unavoidable and its part of the LAN atmosphere. Cant blame the LAG guys at all here.. (could've sound whored and/or taken a timing too)

if they knew he was planting at A why would the both check bottom blue as they walk in? Notice how both of them check their corners when entering blue? Usually when people know where you’re at already, they’ll full sprint to you not even checking corners (hackers in ranked lol). You can see them check it very briefly as if they’re sliding or jumping to check the left corner. I just think it’s a huge coincidence and commentators need to be careful nevertheless.

@@TheRickCOD well your case is that they heard “preds planting A” it takes 5 seconds to plant and they killed him instantly right after not when he was planting. However they still checked bottom blue allegedly knowingly pred is STILL planting the bomb if they actually heard the commentators. There’s no way they would check their corners if they knew 1 person is still alive planting A. I don’t think cod sense would come into play if you already have info (that being the commentators comments). Also, they obviously were camping bomb and i’m sure they noticed that shit was gone. Closest and safest site to check is A first and make your way towards B.

Been a thing since MWII brother 😂 and also the players have amps so they can bump up their game volume😂😂😂 Scrap said that at a tournament he sat where Pred just sat at and his game volume was extremely loud to the point he couldn’t hear his teammates comm. 😂😂😂😂

The headsets they wear are noise cancelling AND they have white noise running in them designed to drown out any remaining crowd/arena noise. The earbuds they use is for the game audio. There is no way they hear what the commentators are saying. Do your research before you just make crazy accusations. These are pro players, what you are seeing is just a coincidence.
