I've only used this once to sharpen my mower blade kzbin.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 but so far very happy with it. I've never used one of these so took me a bit to figure out how to set it up but once I figured it out it did the job just fine. This is likely a single purpose tool for me to use on my mower blade and possibly the occasional axe sharpening so didn't see any need to spend a lot....this will do just fine!

Me ha encantado la reconstrucción de la amoladora Makita, pero quisiera saber, dónde encontraste el recambio del colector nuevo, así cómo lo que te costó en moneda, pues seguramente, por el tiempo invertido y el dinero pagado hubieras comprado tres nuevas, por lo menos aquí en mi país, ésto no quiere decir que no valore el trajo tan bien hecho que has realizado,yá me gustaría a mi tener esa destreza para rebobinar el rotor, tal cómo tu lo has hecho. Nice work, but if you want meaningful readings from your multimeter, use the 'ohms' range, not the diode range. On the diode test range the meter will measure the voltage across the winding which doesn't really tell you much. On the ohms range you'll be able to get accurate resistances of each winding. Then you'll be able to compare resistances and get an idea of which windings may be faulty. You could have used this method on the armature instead of using the growler. Use the diode range when testing junction volt drops of diodes, ~0.65V for silicon diodes, about 1.8V for red, green and yellow LEDs, ~2.5V for white and blue. BTW, I'm an electronics engineer ;-)
