Thanks for this boring vid! I like it. Now I know how the Canadium dump system works. Here in the Netherlands we have to separate everything. Not in the yard but at home and then bring it to the yard. There we dump it in big dumpsters.

This dump is a private transfer station, Not run by the city. It cost a little more but you can dump most materials here & they sort out the clean wood & metals, In my video i put all the clean wood in one pile & later he took it away to the holding areas with clean wood waste for recycle

Interesting video, at our landfill we have to sort and dump in specific areas. They watch you like a hawk to make sure you do not put item in wrong designated area

I love the scrapping and dumping videos. the only request I'd make is to set the camera on the dash or ceiling and not wear it while unloading, but you do you! it's all good either way

Hope your back ache is gone. Your "helping your friend" is proving to be expensive. Because of the job, you are tired and had to rest and the rest cost you your own job (street scrapping) 😊😊 I hope your friend reciprocates by giving you a lot of scrap or any leads to lot of scrap.

The other day you were telling about a shortage of wood. It is surprising to see the wastage of the same. So much wood going to land fill. I dont think there is a real shortage. Wood industry will charge more to customers stating that there is a shortage. Even customers also dont bother. They pay casually. If genuine shortage is there, there will be some channel for the product, either in the form of scrap or reuse. For example, there should be some reuse for the chairs, may be in some charity. There must be some reuse for all the wood plates like furniture making. But no. Every one want fresh wood, even at higher price. Note : I am not blaming CTH. Do not misinterpret me. If there is a genuine demand, a secondary market will exist and CTH will not lose a chance to sell it. So I am talking about the non existence of market.

Your weekly rant. As CTH said in another comment, the wood gets recycled. Yes, here in Van everyone wants new.

Your title "Boring". The repetitive act of throwing wood plate after plate may be boring but the act of wastage makes one think about environment and is not boring.
