I own a 05 Saleen convertible and a 05 GT coupe bought new and there is a great difference in the cars my Saleen has a stroker motor that I ordered naturally aspirated engine of a 311 cu in or 5.1 liter engine big brakes wats rear pan hard setup. Reall enjoy my cars

I've always considered the 99-04 New Edge Platform to have some of the most slickest Saleens. But seeing yours throws me back in the loop of which gen of Saleen I like the most(New Edge or S197) Overall this was a sexy S281 Extreme you found,and I hope you hold onto it long enough to watch it become a modern retro futuristic classic. 👍👍👍

I thought Mustangs of that year looked pretty stupid, but the Saleen bodywork helps a lot. I liked the S197 better when I saw a Saleen in person.

Beautiful car I remember seeing a few at one of the dealerships while driving on the freeway and thought wow that's one beautiful muscle car not sure which saleen it was but this one looks exactly like it they said only 200 were made

lowkey id change the lights to OEM tinted style can’t really adjust to the 2 light setup. but it’s beautiful

there is actually just a plastic cover on the inner light.. take it off and its factory.

Question what did you pay for this vehicle? and did you buy it not long before making this video. Reason I ask is because here in Hawaii I purchased one at an auction. Being a mustang fan I just had to have it. But I did not realize it was the Extreme model. Now that I know that I think I got an amazing deal and want to know what they are actually selling for. So far I've seen prices from 36k to 49k.

Extremes Were Way Better ,Brake & Suspension Wise,Also.Quad Calipers on Front Dual Pistons on Rear.Had a 03 Terminator,Loved it But Almost Killed myself trying to Stop it from Very High Spds..,W/ Only Dual Pist.calipers on front & Single Piston rear brakes.

@@edcain3676 it's not just that the extreme also had a built bottom end and a better 6 speed tremec and a better twin screw blower vs normal saleens. The new edge extremes did I don't know as much about these but being newer I'm sure they did as well.
