5 years later this is still one of the most beautiful and heartfelt videos of this life-changing catastrophe I have seen. You captured the heart and soul of one of the most devastating and life changing experiences of our lives. Thank you. ❤

My heart aches for STJ and its resilient people. So many years later, this brought me to tears. Thank you for sharing your story.

Watching this made me cry. She’s right! Many of us leave after something like this and we don’t move back. Despite saying we will. My kids and I lived on St Thomas. ❤ we finally went back to visit last summer. It was much needed. We’ve missed the island family we made

Wow, Christian, I'm sitting here in a pool of tears. Beautifully put together and this struck me in a way that so many pictures can't do. Last night, I hosted a fund raiser in Minnetonka, MN. Most of the people who came didn't even know that St. John was part of the United States. I had pictures up from pre and post hurricane to encourage people to donate. I wish I'd have had this video running.

Great work, Christian. Watching these two locals, listening to their nervous cadence while expecting one of them to break as they recall backs and legs bracing against vicious winds in a bathroom gives us a chance to experience what these two survivors witnessed and feel the love they have for St. John and it's people.

Great and heartbreaking video editing, but the music is so loud that I can't hear what the people are saying.
