Catmon CEBU River of Fog & ALIEN FRUIT (wild katmon almost GONE)

This is my second official motovlogging video. Featuring a Cebu quiet town of Catmon. In this video, I will show you the beauty of Catmon. A flowing river of fog which can be seen from 5:30 am to 6:30am and sometimes during late afternoon when the day is rainy and cold. Another thing you can expect from this video is the trail going to some of the town's mountain attractions like Esoy Hot Spring and Tinubdan falls (An update since the tragic incident last year). The barrio where I grew up in So. Leyte is also called CATMON.. and yes our elders named our place as a tribute to the katmon wild tree. Looking forward to planting some katmon trees in the nearby north cebu town I now call my new hometown.

The highway or national road that rings around Cebu is flanked by lush greenery and tall trees and coconut palms from south to north. Even Bantayan and Camotes Islands, the roads there are mostly flanked by lush greenery of tall trees and coconut palms. Cebu is green all over.

@Gawens....Mt. Kapayas is not the second highest peak in Cebu. All the highest peaks in Cebu are found in Badian Mountain Range where the three famous peaks: Osmena Peak, Casino Peak (aka Lugsangan Peak) and Kandungao Peak are located. The Badian Mountain Range is the largest mountain system in Cebu and contains some of the highest peaks in all of Cebu between 800 to over 1,000 meters high. If you take a look at a Terrain Map of Cebu and zoom in on Osmena Peak and Casino Peak, both peaks are within the 1,000 meters (or over) zone while Kandungao Peak is on the 900 meters zone. The Mt. Kapayas is only at 700 meters zone. Mt. Manunggal (900 meters zone) and Mt. Mauyog (800 meter zone) in Balamban are even higher than Mt. Kapayas. Kandungao Peak and Mt. Manunggal are both in the 900-meters zone. If you try to stand on top of Mt. Kapayas, you can't see the mountain peaks to the south as it is blocked by a huge mountain which only means, that huge mountain that blocks the view to the south has higher altitude than Mt. Kapayas.
