Very good lesson. the tanpura was being played when the teacher was just speaking, not singing. The tanpura was disturbing at that time. Can tanpura be avoided while the teacher is just speaking ?

Sarita ji, Namaskar. Your explanations and excursions into the ragas are beautiful and very practical. I have watched your videos for many ragas. I have been taking private lessons in Hindustani music for a few years with the main goal of training my voice and learning the basics for singing light movie songs and ghazals. Whenever I liked a raga very much, I have wanted to get deeper into it, and your videos paint such a clear picture that the raga starts getting into my brain and giving me a lot of pleasure.
