toad10000000 Au moins Cécile Corbel, à des le début repris des chants breton en les arrangeant à sa façon de chanter et pas forcément les plus connus. Contrairement à Nolwen Leroy, qui c'est rappelée qu'elle était Bretonne, seulement quand elle a eût besoin de vendre des disques et elle n'a prit que les plus connu, sans les arranger à sa sauce. Et pour moi aussi, Cécile Corbel est une déesse de la musique.

The song is about a young girl, taking form of a horse, telling her father that she have been damned (raped) the original song is "la mule" of malicorne 1979, this version is diffrent, she tells her father to protect her little sister

Sorry to interfere like this but she never mention her sister, she just ask her father to burn her dress and her body and something else I did not hear well, her ring, to burn it all under the moon and to throw her ashes in the mist :) In Malicorne's version it was the priest who damn her one time in a week. Here its only a "man" but everyday. Same version otherwise.

You maybe talk about the original Malicorne version or another one and I 'am talking about the song of this video. Frank k wrote the lyrics perfectly. I don't know the original as a big fan of Corbel...

The story is in the style of an old "murder ballad", though I'm not sure if it's actually a version of one A man goes to a blacksmith to have his horse re-shoed. While the smith is working, the horse speaks to him, calling him "father". When he demands to know what is going on, it's revealed to be the spirit of his deceased daughter Jeannine speaking through the horse, revealing that she was murdered and possibly raped. When the father asks who did it, she reveals that it was a man that she met by the sea. She then asks that her father cremate her body, dress and heart and scatter the ashes to the wind, presumably to release her spirit.

While the farrier is working, the customer's dead daughter's voice speaks to him from the farrier's mouth and confesses that she had been meeting a man out on the moors, and tells him to burn her body and heart and dress under the moon and throw the ashes to the wind.
