And now I've got "Corn Puddin'" stuck on infinite loop in my head.

I honestly don't know if Schmicago is shaping up better than Schmigadoon, or if it's just giving me such a good dopamine hit because this is the era of musicals I first fell in love with. Either way, I'm having a blast.

I never knew she could sing!

@@fbueller It always intrigues me when people say that, because she's been singing on SNL from her first to her last season. I mean, even in her last episode she sang.

Keegan-Michael Key is like a cheat code to make me click. But nothing is strong enough to make me pay for another streaming service. You hear me AppleTV!

Does that mean if there is a season 3, it will all be Andrew Lloyd Weber parodies?
@cbrownjc7633 Жыл бұрын
ALW had musicals in the 70s too (Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita) which are being referenced in this season. I think Season 3 would be musicals of the 80s and 90s, meaning all the big budget musicals, not just the ones by Lloyd Webber (meaning Les Miz and Miss Saigon along with Cats and Phantom), but also shows like Rent, as well as all the Disney musicals on Broadway like Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

Ir looks like a parody of musicals, borrowing the look and feel of certain classic musicals.
@fashionablechangeling1988 Жыл бұрын
It is. The first season was a parody of musicals from the 40s and 50s and season 2 parodies musicals from the 60 and 70s
