This is such a great review! My hair seems to be similar in texture to yours so I'm excited to try my products next wash day! I went a little HAM and got everything, but I love having travel sized products for travel. I totally hear what you're saying about wishing you had more of the silk rinse though (big hair girls unite)...if you purchase the rice water ritual by itself instead of with the bundle it comes with 4 rice packets and 4 silk rinses. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, because 1 box could last me a whole year (I only do rice water ~3 months or so)

Ok, I used them last night…the clarifying shampoo is chefs kiss!!! My scalp felt so clean and my hair didn’t feel super stripped like some clarifying shampoos like to do. The hydrating shampoo was great, loved how much it lathered. I skipped the rice water for this round and used the conditioning mask and then the deep conditioner, which left my hair super soft and with minimal tangles. It was so easy to work through! Then I used the lotion, which wasn’t my favorite. A lot of the reviews I saw mentioned that the lotion has some hold, but I didn’t feel like it had much hold for me. I then used a little bit of gel to do two strand twists and I used the nourishing hair oil on my ends (this oil is the MVP for me, it smells so good and feels so light). I plan on using the oil when I take down my twists in a few days. First impressions: this line definitely feels more salon quality. The smells alone are giving nostalgia! My mom had us at the salon every 2 weeks to get our hair done…the products remind me of that, it’s weird! I can’t wait to use the rice water protein next time. My twists feels super juicy and hydrated but not weighed down, so I’m pumped to see how the twist out looks! 😊

Appreciate your honest review. I have similar texture. I bought the full line and I’m glad to know the products did what they were supposed to. Can’t wait to use as I’m in a protective style
