I am starting to think it has at least something to do with the amount of pre-fishing pressure these lakes get from the kayak tournaments. It seems that for a Saturday tournament at least half the field fishes on Thursday and/or Friday, hitting all of the "usual spots". And these folks aren't "pre fishing" as in scouting their electronics, they are catching fish...and those fish most likely won't bite on tournament day after being hooked a day or two before. So picture all of your usual spots getting "pre fished" and beat up for days leading up to the tournament, then on tournament day you show up and all of the fish are like nope we aren't falling for that lure again! I'm starting to think that on these lakes I need to spend more time looking for spots most people aren't going to try, and throw lures those fish haven't seen so much. But we'll figure it out and get those bigs!

Have you ever tried a shorter net? You get the fish close almost everytime and in my experience a smaller net is sooo much easier to handle in a kayak.

I have tried a straight-handled net and a smaller wading net, both of which made me like my giant YakAttack Leverage Landing Net even more, I just need to focus more and use it properly instead of being a dummy and just waving it around in the general direction of a fish.

Lynx is still doing great! Strictly wants me to upgrade next year since Hobie doesn't make this Papaya (orange) one any more, but I would happily stick with this one for many more years.

Thank you! I actually got the GoPro MAX360 about 4 years ago, but I don't like using it because of the extra step required in editing to convert the footage from 360 to video my Adobe editing software can work with. It adds many hours to my editing process which already takes me 12-20 hours to complete depending on the number of cameras I run. Most of the people I know who use the MAX360 edit and upload their videos right on their phones, but I am too particular about the editing and the end product to not use my laptop. But for the last few months I have been getting an internal battery required error on my GoPro Hero 10 and 11, which makes those unusable for my tournament days unless I want to switch out a battery every 30 minutes, and the GoPro MAX360 runs fine, so I'm stuck with that for now until I find a solution to this error (which I really don't understand why GoPro hasn't publicized an update or solution!).
