I just found your channel. One thing as a health care professional, it worries me that you don’t wear a respirator when you are spraying. I realize that you are spraying outside, but the overspray from the spray gun lingers in the air and you run the risk of breathing that in and doing great damage to your lungs. Please consider wearing a respirator at all times when you spray. I saw this tip on another channel about getting a clean edge when you’re taping. Take your piece and then take a small amount of topcoat and run along the edge of that and allow it to dry and then when you are spraying the paint will not see underneath the tape. I hope that works for you.

This looks amazing. I am loving that green. I didn’t notice the drawer pulls at first. But once you put them on right it’s hard to unsee it. They really did turn out amazing. I’m always afraid to tackle wood tops when they have those curvy edges. But you nailed it. Great work

A beautiful transformation as always Samuel, the slight lightening of the wood I think looked even better with the green than if you had left it its natural colour and the wax on the raised edges of the drawer handles looked much nicer than being solid gold.

That is a beautiful set and that green is gorgeous. I love the wood/paint combination. I like to see furniture flippers, restorers and those that restyle pieces, using Howard's Feed and Wax to nourish the inside and outside of drawers as well as glides and slides. I think it shows the customer that you really care about the pieces you work on. I'm not throwing shade on you or your work, just a suggestion. Great job !!

I have a similar bedroom set I have been working on and I have an almost exact color green that I plan on using on the bodies as I already did the top and drawers in a bare/wood with a white wash finish, Your video has helped me immensely. PS. I am not sure yet, but I am tempted to put a transfer on the drawers.

I've been enjoying your channel and work. Not to be a Debby downer but I do recommend you wear a mask when painting. I used to not wear one. Then I was running a dehumidifier in my shop and saw all the paint it collected and realized how much I must have been breathing in 😳 it was far from where I was painting too.

Wow what a terrific transformation. Very nice color choice. And the gilded waxed drawer handles really look sharp. How durable is the gilding wax? Considering how much solid wood dove tailed furniture would cost today, $1600.00 for six transformed pieces is a very reasonable cost. Hope your client is happy with your work.

I have that exact 9 drawer dresser with the mirror and I also have another French provincial set that includes 9 drawer dresser with mirror, high boy and 2 night stands. All of the drawer hardware are oriented like the ones on this set before you removed them. All of mine are still with original finish and have not been touched. So I would say they are not put on wrong. But the change you made looks good, too
