Great vid, any consideration on bloodchief ascension? seems like that's a pretty popular way to close out the game in other lists

The last time someone had BCA out against me in their Talion and I was on a different deck, it was very easy to convince table we needed to kill talion and also attack exclusively the BCA player whenever possible if attacking for 2+. That play pattern concerns me among winning players I expect to encounter if doing well in an event. Plus I think it has a "timed rounds" problem if it shows up outside the first couple turns. Not that it’s unplayable, but that’s why I went a different way

Don't do it. It's a big package that gets messed up by a chain of vapor.

Hear me out, Hoodwinked and machine over matter instead of cyclonic rift and resculpt. Everyone and their dog is playing 3-5 colors for 2-4 turn format. Hookwinked is justifyable and returning to hand is same as getting a turn ahead. The attitudes that keep you alive in midrange game dont count if your opponet is running a fancy 3 color and you return a key land that thwarts more than a single spell. one land per turn. This is a "weakness" no one attacks becuase they also are running over complicated build for 4 turn game.(cedh 3-4 turn avr) 24 years experience has taught me that its better to adapt to 2 color in 5 color 4 turn decks are over zealous. there is 1200 easy combos 3-4 ccards in dimir alone. I can go on moxfield and see what problems these decks present by drawing practice hands.

​@@Xath123more importantly it's 2 mana instead of 1. That's twice as much mana. I'm not convinced one is better than the other but the mana's a much bigger deal than a 4/4 vs 3/3
