I own the A8A. I can't compare it to other receivers. But this receiver is a masterpiece. but it needs additional formats. like IMAX. overall? the sound quality and customizable options are insane, I don't think there is another receiver with those options

Front panel display is very small! Build quality is mid range..... Only 11.2 channels.

I agree i expected buld quality like for. NAD or Rotel... Yamaha flagship shuld be build in Japan for a batter build quality ..
