You jumping up and down with the knives in your pockets reminded me of playing with clackers in the 70's, (clackers were two acrylic balls with string through them attached to a ring or handle and you swung them rapidly to clack the balls together)

Recently picked up the Spyderco *Leafjumper k390* and I'm impressed. I love the ergonomics. It fits my med/large hand much better than the endura/endela, and the small ricasso allows better(shorter) distance from the handle to blade heel. It's not as good looking as other options, but so far the performance/comfort outshines the others I have. Happy New year🎉 & Blessings

I have one too, I am also impressed with it. Shame they are being discontinued. But that means you can pick up a spare for cheap.

Great knife overall I'd say, generally your either in to big blades or your not, i still carry my 4Max in summer but cargo shorts for me lol. Like the new lock design just not sure on the spring due to the same principle as an omega spring so breakage could be a problem, wish they would have went with a coil spring as they are much more reliable like on the benchmade anthem or the spyderco Manix. Do lose a bit of strength with a hollow grind so 3V is a great choice to help mitigate that on such a large blade that you may do some chopping with. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

After recovering from the short shorts......my thoughts immediately turned to the original Hummer.......military vehicle. Clean up your thoughts! But with your short shorts and Riverina hat, that knife looks good on you, Pete!! THANKS for this video! Happy New Year!!!

I think if I was looking for HD use I would be looking at a fixed blade which would probably be cheaper and with a more comfortable handle.
@jeremymcadam74003 күн бұрын
Have you ever seen a photo of a knife like this that broke?
@kevola57393 күн бұрын
@ - Give it to Joe X and I’m sure he will find a way though this may be far from practical testing. The point I was trying to make is that a fixed blade may be better suited to hard use. A folder this size is not practical for pocket carry and so you need a sheath anyways. The more comfortable handle of a fixed blade makes this a better choice for hard long term use and the full tang blade design would obviously be stronger. Price favours the fixed blade as well.

If that’s true, that’s wild. They’re already overpriced, and they really don’t make anything special. I only have an original Mini Griptilian, but it’s from when they were reasonably priced around $75. It’s a decent little knife, but the lock has broken on me 3 times now. It’s the only knife I’ve broken just by opening and closing it. But at least the fix it for free 🤷♂️

I don't get it 🤔 I Love big blades , Ive been a Cold Steel fan forever, but to put such¹+ a thin hollow grind on that super thick stock makes no sense to me, its like they are trying to make this super thick pry-bar into an edc knife and thats not gonna happen ....
@MB-jg4tr4 күн бұрын
It does seem counter intuitive. They're obviously getting a much thinner edge with less width behind the edge for increased slicing performance, but it doesn't make geometric sense starting with such thick stock, and with such a beefy handle, aside from the aesthetic look.

Wanta know why you only have 77K subs after 13+ years? It's because of stupid jumping stunts with big knives in your pockets implying other things (which aren't true). It took 6+ minutes to learn about the knife lock which headlines your video. Most of that time was spent in self-adulation which detracts from you message. REAL EFFECTIVE KZbinrs with millions of followers have outgrown your antics and many exude humility. It's great to display personality, but ultra-cringe when you display something you're not. Please take this message to heart and do better in the future.
