The 1%er patch on the biker’s jacket is an outlaw motorcycle club thing. I can’t remember the exact dates but there was a biker meet up in the 1940’s that turned into a riot and a spokesman from the American Motorcycle Association made a statement in response to the riots and the criticism aimed at motorcycle riders, that 99% of motorcycle riders are law abiding citizens and so those this statement would later be used by outlaw motorcycle clubs who claimed they were the 1% who weren’t law abiding citizens and so they became known as the 1%ers. How this ties into the video is, I am guessing the woman was a prostitute and the biker was into organised crime, so possibly the sex industry and so that’s why they were paired up like the guy with the tattoo and the guy with the necklace of the KKK member being hanged, that’s my interpretation anyway

The 1%er bikers were also heavily involved in, along with the proud boys and white supremacists disrupting and stirring violence at BLM rallies, anti antifa, Jan 6 insurrection, etc.

This is a great tune. Love to see Webby singing here - very vibey & nothing too flashy spittin-wise.... it felt to me like Webby very generously setting the scene for Ren to come in with the choppier flow & make use of those hard-panned adlibs etc as the feature. Nice to see Webby's dad laid down the 12string guitar for the track too! And a superb video. What's not to love? :) p.s. that "you being the skinhead racist you were" almost made me snort my coffee! Ren wore the "Hollywood Spat Me Out" jacket in his video for "Troubles", where he sung about his medical struggles and the stem cell therapy that finally provided him some progress towards healing. Maybe I'm reading into it a little too deeply, but I interpret that as his second chance that brought him back.

Maybe my understanding is often someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm thinking Time matters because the people who are living can come visit the bar I'm thinking that's why the guy was able to leave with his briefcase before ren because they are the living but it doesn't mean the bar can't be visited it's almost like visiting hours to me because why all the clocks why does time matter it doesn't matter to you in purgatory but maybe they have visiting hours for the ones visiting them like friend or that guy with briefcase I want to know
