I use CAL star 900XL for my jig sticks cuz they are some of the lightest 9 foot rods that i can use because i am fishing 5 days in a row catching around 5-20 yellow tail daily and they go from 20-50 lbs fish. its really tiring catching all those fishes plus doing like 100 casts and retrieves daily. so i prefer going with a lighter setup. and we bring bass rods too for calico bass but cedros has so much yellowtail almost always get bit on the bass tackle and have to fight the fish on light rated rods but its fun because we are on pongas and we can chase the fish and tire it out. couple fish that broke our line in the video where giant Black sea bass and big treasher sharks.
