A suggestion for system comparisons... Play two or three positions with each position playing a different system. Deal one hand that all positions play off of. That way the one hand remains the constant and each system affects its own bankroll. In the end, the system comparison will be from the same cards played, same win/loss order. Really enjoy your videos.

16 vs. 10 is surrender. I’m a card counter, I work as a pit boss and been in the casino industry for 20 years. Major problem I see with systems is people ignore house edge. Couldn’t tell you how many dice setters waste their money betting hard ways, and any craps on the come out roll. If you wanna make money in the casino you need to bet as small as possible when the casino has the advantage and as much as your bankroll can handle when you have the edge. Systems like this sell because they seem good at the moment and are played by people who don’t truly understand what’s happening and are ignoring math.

There's only one way to find out if a system truly has merit and will work over time. You need a very large sample. Just like the family who beat roulette by recording numbers. They said it became crystal clear what numbers were hot when they got up to 30,000 spins. The same with this one. Play 30,000 hands and then see if you're ahead. Even a few dollars up and you have a valid working system.

@@brianlint5548 it can be programmed to let you win every 5 hands if they want to but they probably wont. I downloaded an app and felt like I was getting very few Blackjacks double downs and 20s. Seemed like the dealer would draw 3-4 cards to beat me A LOT. I happened to count the aces for awhile and only got like 5 outta 100 cards when it should've been 15-16... so I dont trust it either..
@denniswoods39094 жыл бұрын
Hey guys. Thanks for this.I do have one question. We all hope the dealer has a 6 showing because it has such a high probability of busting. Why then would we take a hit on a hard 16 against anything with such a high probability of busting? What am I missing?
@johnurseth74294 жыл бұрын
Dennis Woods mathematically, hit it. Whatever you decide though, stick to the same system. Same with hitting 12 against a dealers busy card. You have good odds you won’t bust and will take a low card from the dealer so some people hit it. But still, whatever you do you have better odds sticking to the same system rather than guessing
@Devedander4 жыл бұрын
Dennis Woods you hit the 16 against a 7 or higher because basic strategy is to assume the dealer has a 10 under. If they do you are already beat so you are drawing to try and eek something out. The dealer won't have a 10 every time and you won't bust every time. The number of cards that don't bust you against the odds the dealer doesn't have a 10 end up being slightly in favor of hitting.
@denniswoods39094 жыл бұрын
@@Devedander Good morning. Thanks for your reply. I did my own little "research" project, and watched 225 BJ deals. I admit it's a very small sample size but of those 225 hands, the dealer had a 10 under 71 times and something other than a 10 154 times. Certainly, I'm open to the idea that a sample size of 1000's and 1000's of hands may prove that wrong. If, on the other hand, a much larger sample size showed similar results it would sure throw a wrench into the decision making thought process. I've used basic strategy with the exception of the hard 16 I mentioned. I just have a hard time hitting when the likelihood of busting seems so high.
@Devedander4 жыл бұрын
Dennis Woods remember it's not entirely based on the dealer having a ten. Just a high likelihood of it. When hitting a 16 A-5 helps and 6-k busts. While slightly more cards bust you than help they are offset by the number of times your are already beaten by the dealer so have to hit or just resign a lost position. Arguably the ratio is very close on this situation and it's one of the worst to be in as your making close to a coin flip odds decision

So if the buy in is 100 for each and one hand ends up betting from $10 to $50 per hand and the other flat bets $10, if they play the same number of hands the total amount wagered by the first spot is way more than the flat bet. That means winnings will be way higher or it will lose faster, due to the higher average bet.

To win at blackjack you must play perfect basic strategy and play a perfect count system. Knowing the hole card is the ultimate advantage in blackjack, read the book' Heat in the Vegas Night'.

Well you need to know betting deviations when you card count.

@@chavaa5949 There are actually two ways to bet. We would have the money player on first base and he would flat bet. Three players at the table from center field to third base would attempt to control the count by violating basic strategy to manipulate the count. Of course the standard method of betting is betting more when there is a plus count and the table minimum when the count is minus and adjusting for the true count.. We were hole carders and that changes everything. The book 'Heat in the Vegas Night' will show how a group used a mirror to see the dealers hole card for five years.

Its all in the momentum of the math......its a pendulum swing. You have to recognize when the dealer is busting OFTEN...and jump on it

Do you check if the dealer has a blackjack? Every 10 and Ace you need to check if the dealer has a blackjack.

That explanation seems weird, it’s almost like you’re betting your winnings each time you win, so when you lose, you lost almost all your wins.
