I remember seeing a lot of old ones at this park ever since I went as a kid in the 90s. The Fasco's always stood out to me, as that seemed to be the fan of choice for the park. Some of these look more modern than what I remember. I do believe their indoor theater rooms had fans too. In a lot of ways, this park is like a time capsule of my childhood and was instrumental in my fascination with fans. So much of this place is still intact, and I think that's on purpose. Plus it's so hot there, it's no wonder they have so many. All of Gatlinburg was riddled with them back in the day, if I recall.

I live in Gatlinburg, which is not too far from there. I have been to Dollywood so many times I can't even count. Every time I would go, I would look at all the ceiling fans. I would see the old fans and then see the new ones that took their place. My favorite fans were in the Blazing Fury ride. There were two Hunter Originals down there. But unfortunately, they were replaced, which kinda upsets me.

I absolutely love looking at the fans in Dollywood some of these are new since the last time I was there I know in the front where the theater is they used to have footprint vents all on the outside of that particular building and they also had a few Charleston’s by the bathrooms near the main entrance of the park and they also had fasco snuggers too but the installs in that park really amaze me especially the vintage fans they still have 😊

Are charlestons damp / wet location rated? or is that why those saurces are above them to protect them from getting ruined! if so might have to take a page from the builders of dollywood to get an original out on my pergola!
