I’ve been running my Celebi Serperior with no extra mons, but I’ve been considering dropping a potion for a single copy of Dhelmise. I think I’m gonna test it out tonight. I have 2 Sabrinas, that’s the main difference between our decks.

@ That’s what I’m thinking. Celebi/Serperior is very similar to Mewtwo/Gardevoir in a lot of respects, and I think Dhelmise is like a less tanky, more aggressive Baby Mewtwo. I’m gonna add 1 for sure, at least to test, but I’m not sure what to replace it with. Potion looks like the best option to cut to 1, but I’m still mulling it over. I’m a huge Sabrina fan, so I’m unlikely to cut it, and the rest of the deck seems crucial.

8:34 I think with the addition of the new cards, and all of the Red Card videos that have been posted bashing it (I’ve been against it from the first day), people are finally starting to drop it from their decks. It should absolutely NEVER be played on Ladder. Open deck list tournaments is the only use case, and even then I don’t think it’s worth it

@@JHugsPlays Red Card is just statistically bad, it’s never been good to blindly play. In tournament formats, if your opponent knows you might red card them, they have to play around it, placing basics, using potions and Giovanni’s before it’s optimal, etc. On the ladder, it’s as good as guessing, and now with more options like Leaf (or Blue, but I don’t think it’s good enough), it just shouldn’t be considered anymore. There’s always something better to run.
