Your family has been here for 3 months, they haven't explored any other places except samal island and davao. The vlog is all about food over and over again, I hope it's exciting. Even though Siargao, which is near samal, hasn't been to one, you have a car, so there are plenty of time and places to explore. Oh, if you stayed in that Cafe Maanag during New Year's eve, maybe you could have watched the fireworks in Davao. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all. We didnt know you have a different christmas calendar in Russia. But I learned from the mass (Feast of the Epiphany- January 6), in Spain they give their Christmas gifts during the Feast of the Epiphany, symbolizing the giving of gifts of the Three Kings to the newborn Jesus.

Maañag ( Maanyag ) is an old term which means Beautiful. Althoug I'm not sure about it's origin , Spanish maybe , but i heard it from my Spanish meztiza great grandparents. It was widely used in Cebu by older people like my grandparents.
