Thank You so much for sharing your story, Kelly. It's because of you that I'm going to find a celebrate recovery here in Kent, WA. I'VE BEEN CLEAN AND SOBER FOR 6 YEARS BUT I'VE ISOLATED MYSELF COMPLETELY FROM MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I CONSIDER MYSELF TO BEING WHITE KNUCKLING MY RECOVERY RIGHT NOW AND SLIPPING IN MY THOUGHTS AS WE SPEAK. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO TURN BACK FROM RECOVERY. THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I ENDED UP RIGHT HERE ON KZbin WATCHING PEOPLE'S TESTIMONY THROUGH CR. YOU WERE THE FOURTH TESTIMONY I WATCHED........ NOW I FEEL COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO AT LEAST CHECK THE TIMES FOR LOCAL MEETING HERE AT CELEBRATE RECOVERY. I'VE TRIED NA AND AA BUT I FEAR THAT I'LL MAKE FRIENDS WITH SOMEONE WHO RELAPSES IN THE FUTURE. THAT SCARES ME TO DEATH. I DON'T WANT TO BE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT PAIN OR CLOSE TO DRUGS LIKE THAT.. PLUS THE FACT THAT I HAVE SEVERE SOCIAL ANXIETY AND FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO CRY IF SOMEONE EVEN TRIES TO SPEAK TO ME. THAT'S WHY I USED DRUGS ALL THOSE YEARS, TO BRING ME OUT OF MY SHYNESS THAT I'VE SUFFERED WITH MY WHOLE LIFE. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH KELLY I'M NOW GOING TO CHECK CELEBRATE RECOVERIES SCHEDULE OVER HERE AND HOPE THEY HAVE ONE IN KENT!! I HOPE TO KNOW A GOD AND GET THE JOY THAT I SEE IN PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU SAID. SUICIDAL THOUGHTS HAS BEEN A HUGE ISSUE WITH ME THE PAST FEW YEARS. AFTER SEPTEMBER 9TH 2016 WHEN MY ONLY CHILD, DANYELLE DEMARIA , PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY AT 9 YEARS OLD AFTER OPEN HEART SURGERY. JUST ONE MONTH BEFORE HER 10TH BIRTHDAY. I'VE WANTED TO DIE EVERYDAY SINCE. I'M NOT THE SAME PERSON I WAS BEFORE. I'M AFRAID IF I GO OUT AND MEET PEOPLE THAT I'LL FIND SOMEONE THAT DOES OR HAS DRUGS OR RELAPSES I'M JUST AFRAID TO RELAPSE. BECAUSE THEN I KNOW THERE'S NO GOING BACK. I'M A LIFELONG ADDICT THAT DOESN'T WANT TO LIVE. DANYELLE DESERVED TO LIVE..... NOT ME.

Btw.... I rarely comment on KZbin. I just felt compelled to type it all out and hold myself accountable because I need to get out of this hamster wheel of pain, hopelessness, and worthless feelings I have every day. I need something and I think this is that something! Well I'm hoping this is that something missing in my life. I hope to find evidence that they're actually is a God. I want to feel the happiness that I see all these believers have in their hearts. I just needed some type of happiness and to be able to smile for once.
