Visions of the Sea shares beautiful underwater scenes to relax, calm, and inspire you about nature and our ocean. In this episode we take you throughout the Salish Sea, an inland sea connecting to the Pacific Ocean between the US and Canada. It's also called the Emerald Sea because of the shades of green to the richness of phytoplankton. Our ocean produces more than 50-70% of the oxygen our planet needs. We should be called Planet Ocean. This episode also shares amazing scenes from Giant Pacific Octopus our team gathered during the past few years during amazing experiences throughout the region.

About Annie Crawley:
Annie Crawley has worked around the world with cameras in hand, mostly below the surface of our ocean. Born and raised in Chicago, she fell in love with water swimming in the Great Lakes as she did not see the ocean until after graduating from the University of Illinois. After she learned to scuba dive, she took a calculated risk and sold her car to purchase her first underwater camera systems. As an underwater explorer, she was inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame in 2010, earned her Master of Communications at University of Washington in 2018, and is a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps trained by Al Gore. She now lives in the PNW, north of Seattle, but considers the ocean home. She has created a series of illustrated books and programs to entertain, educate and awe people about life within our ocean. If you would like to partner on a project, contact her today.
Annie Crawley's work has reached hundreds of thousands of people. She continues to create partnerships to promote ocean health. Annie shares the beauty and wonder of exploring our ocean while helping raise awareness about pollution, climate change, illegal fishing while inspiring sustainability.

I agree but also, there’s also the feeling when diving and witnessing the beauty IRL that cannot be captured in AI either!

So happy you found it and appreciate what is just below the surface. It’s my honor to be able to film these scenes and connect people to the Salish Sea and around our world!

Sorry I missed this. I use a Canon 1DX MarkII and Nauticam Housing with Light and Motion Lights. This was cut in Final Cut Pro on a Macbook.
