I think at this stage in the reaction game, your admittedly laborious production method is the right thing to do. It's not an evergreen market anymore, and the kind of quality you produce is what sets you apart. So many people have started cutting corners and losing the touch that made them successful in the first place, so I hope you persevere, life circumstances permitting of course. Another key ingredient in your formula is the way you combine smart observations with a lack of cynicism-don't underestimate how rare this combo is! Most reactors are either naive or jaded, but you've found that important middle ground. And as the generation (elder millennial) immediately following yours, I personally appreciate people with a bit of experience. 20-somethings just don't have the same perspective on things!
