Celebrating Eachothers Difference's' Part 3 at The Lughnasa Creative Arts Centre in Glenties, Co.Donegal. With so much 'dis-ease' in Our World caused by so many wars raging in it, I thought to create an event that brought people from different backgrounds together to 'Celebrate Eachothers Difference's' and what better day to do that than July 12th, a day that for decades here in Ireland highlighted the 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland . Today, thankfully as a result of the 'Good Friday Agreement', politicians from all sides were finally able to reach a starting point to move forward towards Peace, it wasn't an easy journey for the politicians, there were even times when many of them wanted to walk away from the talks however they didn't and that's why the people of Northern Ireland no longer live in a war zone. What has been achieved in Northern Ireland should be held as an example to the rest of Our World that compromise is possible, Peace is possible and so much can be achieved by simply opening our eyes and ears enough to realise that we all have more in common than we think, we really are all 'The Same But Different'.
