Renowned cookbook author Joan Nathan explored the rich culinary traditions that are integral to Jewish holidays. Nathan, author of the book "My Life in Recipes: Food, Family and Memories," shared her vast knowledge and insights into how food and cuisine play a pivotal role in the celebration of Jewish festivals and holidays, as well as in the preservation and expression of Jewish culture and identity. The event was moderated by culinary historian and National Jewish Book Award winner, Michael W. Twitty.
