Sean Hudspeth's Mom Finds Relief from Knee Pain
Sean Hudspeth is a Singaporean professional GT racer and official driving instructor for Ferrari. He is rarely in Singapore and doesn't get to see his family enough.
In 2021, Sean broke his ankle and had to have surgery in the UK. After surgery, he was flown back to Singapore for intensive post-op care at East Coast Podiatry. With the help of his team podiatrists, he was recovering incredibly fast.
Sean's mother has had pain in her knees and back for years. She has always been healthy and active, but she's been enduring knee and back pain for so long. A physician told her that there is degeneration in her knees, which means cartilage damage. She was also told that there are no solutions out there to help with the pain, the only thing that she can do is just walk less, and undergo knee replacement surgery when it gets bad enough.
Despite massages and adjustments to the hips, the pain has continued to worsen over the last 5 years. Sean didn't know what else to do, so he asked his team of podiatrists if they were able to help his mother.
It turns out Sean's mum has osteoarthritis of the knees, a condition that many Singaporeans have. This condition is heavily linked to alignment issues. No amount of stretching and strengthening at home would make it better or reduce her pain.
The podiatrists used advanced podiatric technologies on her knees, legs, and lower back. Within a few sessions, Sean's mum was feeling better, with less pain when she goes down the stairs or when she does her activities.
This has been such a relief for the 2 time GT Champion, truly amazing results for something that he thought would be hopeless.
