Day 4 in London is my 40th Birthday! So we celebrated with a very special lunch on a River Thames boat tour. After the boat tour we explored the riverfront and then went to our VERY FIRST CAR BOOT SALE!!! To end the perfect birthday we visited the Harry Potter studio tour and made all of our early 2000s dreams come true 😂
Join us on our 30 DAY EUROPEAN TRIP! It all started with a European trip we saved up for several years back in May 2020. Two years later, we're finally here on the adventure of a lifetime and we are so thrilled to share this experience with all of you 😊❤️ My greatest passion in life is traveling seeing our beautiful earth! I feel so grateful to be on this adventure learning more about our history, trying new foods, meeting new friends and of course finding 2nd hand treasures! I hope you tag along with Jesse and I for this 30 day adventure! My sister Erin, and my nieces Sophie and Maya will be joining us for the first 10 days! I am 67 yrs. young & l love Harry Potter! My son & I both read all the books. We started reading them together out loud, then when Nate was in 6th grade he wanted to read them alone. I was so afraid he wouldn't be a reader. Yay!!! I would go to Harry Potter Studios if I were in London along with the Boot Sale!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that LOVED Harry Potter World, where they actually filmed the movie. Went there 6 years ago and fell in love with it! Had my first butter beer there, before Islands Of Adventure at Universal Studios Orlando. My husband tickets for my birthday as well. My favourite was seeing the Weasley’s kitchen and the model of Hogwarts. My mother in law went around Christmas and it was lit up. She took photos and it looked stunning! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice to know someone else has an issue with escalators! Whenever we travel (like the Louvre) my daughter researches to make sure there are elevators. My issue is with down escalators. I just can’t jump on like everyone else, especially if there are a lot of people behind me!

I remember going to the King Tut exhibit in Los angeles when I was about eight. My Dad bought me a Tutankhamen ring and a bunch of Egyptian artifact flash cards. I was thrilled! I brought my stuff to school for Show and Tell, but I don't think anyone was into it.😞I could've sworn it was cool. I guess only to me!😀haha!

My first trip to London fresh out of college I got on the wrong tube and it was a nonstop one to clear out of town lol. I learned to read all underground’s very well all over Europe for the 3 months I traveled. Thought you’d get a good laugh as you nearly missed getting off the underground.

We lived 40 miles north of London when my husband was in the Air Force 50 years ago . We were there 3 years . Our oldest daughter was born close to Cambridge in another base . Still miss it to this day . I loved London but I really loved the villages . Scotland and Wales are great, too . Didn't get to Ireland we didn't make enough money . Only about $350 a month .

So London has a ferris wheel like Paris? I've never been to London. Have you had any experience with the vaccine having or not? Im so happy that you were able to go. Will you be in Greece? We lived north of there, gkyphada, in the mid 50s. I went my 6 and 7 grades there. My squad was the o ly Chaplain in Greece when we were first there. Then came a priest and a rabbi. We lived on the economy with a Greek lawyer , his wife, and daughter. We went everywhere over Greece while we were stationed there. Such an experience. An education money could not buy!! My mom is scared of escalators too. She had a traumatic experience on one as a kid. Washington DC has some serious ones as well, just to warn you. She closes her eyes until near the top
