From what I remember Starbucks vanilla latte and Timmies vanilla latte are two very different drinks. But I will absolutely be having some Timmies when I get home on Sunday! 😊

You really can tell a difference between the two. Oooooh, and the donuts at Timmies are sooooo good!! One of the mornings we went to Timmies I got an wild berry cheesecake donut, it was AMAZING!! Yum!!

I would love to try Tim Hortons. I think it would be fun to compare, but even though I like Starbucks vanilla latte, compared to another very local very small chain (4 locations) I don’t like Starbucks anymore so I kind of think it’s easy to beat Starbucks nowadays because I think they’ve lost something.

I think you are on to something when you say you think they've lost something! I had a Stumptown coffee the other day and it was soooooo good so much better than what I would normally buy from Starbucks. I think Starbucks is kinda a hit or miss depending on location and what you order.

@@MarieWinton absolutely. There is no consistency anymore. When I go to Woods and order my oatmilk vanilla latte I know exactly what I’m getting no matter the location or who’s working

The ones inside Safeway are even worse, at least the one by my house. They are so slow, almost always a new person working, and half the time when I order my soy caramel macchiato the barista has no clue how to make it! I had to explain to one of them one time what all is in the drink, how ridiculous is that? If I wanted to make it myself I would make it at home or apply to work for Starbucks. LOL

To be honest, I've never liked Starbucks. I went in there one-time years ago for a cup of coffee, and it tasted like it had been sitting on the burner all night long. In fact, I threw the whole thing out after two sips and went to McDonalds. I swore I would never go back again, and I haven't. I've never had the chance to try Tim Hortons because they don't have any near me, but I've only heard good things about it. So, I'm willing to give it a go if I ever get the opportunity.

Yeah, Starbucks is kinda a hit or miss for me. I prefer the iced coffees when I go to Starbucks (I usually get the soy caramel macchiato as a treat every now and then) and I enjoy my hot coffee at home or from Stumptown Coffee which is a local roaster here in Portland Oregon. I wish Tim Horton's was around more locations because that was such a good cup of coffee! Def try them if/when you get the chance.
