Why is it a bit thin to be a pillow paint?
@NateBrightArt3 күн бұрын
Hi Jay! Part of what makes the bloom technique work is that the paints are different consistencies. The pillow needs to be thick enough that the colors you put on top stay there instead of sinking. Ideally, the pillow paint is the thickest, then the colors are a bit thinner, and the cell activator is the thinnest. The pillow paint can be the SAME consistency as the colors, but it can't be thinner. I hope that helps!

Brilliant color palette. The flower is beautiful, but if I may say, something is missing. Maybe thumb or finger swipe leaves in the champagne gold, possibly with a little green shade. Not big just for show. Hope I don't offend you with the suggestion. Happy New Year to you and your husband

I like where you're going and I totally agree. It's a very small canvas for me so I wanted to keep it minimal. The next one will be larger, so I'll have more room to play. I also think I can do a better blow out and maybe use my skewer to add more fine details. Thanks Cynthia - great suggestion!
