Nothing like James Last. A different sound altogether. This fine Festival march was written by the late Major Les Condon A fine Christian gentleman and Salvationist composer. He played EEb bass in the ISB and was a brilliant player. He wrote many great pieces for brass band. His devotional pieces brought great blessings to many people around the world.

A tad slow

I would say perfect speed, having played it with Gordon at Tylney Hall music school under the baton of the composer.

It's written 112 this is 109. Within range of error. There is a tendency to play SA marches far too fast.

The tempo was perfect for Les Condons ' Celebration' the venue was at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, i believe the bandmaster was being respectful as I know Les would have been.
