Fun fact: The Battle of the Five Roads is a 1912-1915 war between Mongolia and China in which the Mongols sought to liberate Inner Mongolia from Chinese rule, while the Chinese sought to preserve Inner Mongolia and destroy the Bogd Khanate and conquer its territory. This war is known in China as the "Year of the Cattle Riot" and is not studied in depth because most of China's major military operations failed during the war, and the sources falsely record their defeats as victories. From 1913 to the end, there were about 58 armed conflicts. Of these, 33 were won by the Mongols, 11 by the Chinese, and it is unclear how the 14 clashes ended. (It was kinda shameful for china because mongolian population was 600000 and chine population was 400 mil)

In Mongolian history class its taught that: 1) The Mongol Offensive into Inner Mongolia was mostly succesful 2) The Bogd Khanate wished to fulfill a Panmongolist dream of uniting all Mongols under a single flag, this meant that he wished to incorporate inner mongolia into the Bogd Khanate 3) This dream was crushed when the Tsardom of Russia intervened by threatening to withdraw their guarantee of Mongol Independence. 4) Not wishing to jeapordize Mongol Independance The Khan ordered for Mongol troops to withdraw from the area. 5) The reason why Russia intervened was because of Japanese pressure for Russia to uphold their secret treaty after the Russo-Japanese war. 6) One of the conditions of that secret treaty was for Outer Mongolia to be within Russian influence while inner Mongolia was to be in the Japanese sphere of influence. So in short because of a secret treaty drawn by two empires, mongolia was never able to fully unify...

@@BR0984 Yeah this why we generally don’t trust the Russian govt. Although there are many people who feel nostalgic for communism mainly for its stability . And not just the imperial russia even the Soviets did nothing good to us, all their economic aids had strings attached. Mongolia was fortunate that the USSR collapsed, if it stayed for another 20 yrs we would’ve been assimilated way deep in their culture to the level of modern day Buryatia. Having Titanic countries as neighbors is not a fortune anyone would dare to want. Atleast, the USSR is gone so it’s only one to go.
@BR09843 жыл бұрын
@@romanvonungern-sternberg1322 Indeed. There is nothing free in this world. I've been to Buryat Republic before, and almost all of the people living there were either Russian or had Russian characteristics. I've been to the capital and a few villages, so I'm certain about the demographics of the area. That's true, being surrounded by two powers does hinder your nation. Although, why are you certain that Russia doesn't have any agenda in Mongolia? Looking at the actions of Russia, it is clear that they want to reclaim their old lands back, be it in Europe, Central Asia or East Asia. Mongolia is probably not high in list as of now, but make no mistake, for Mongolia's future rests in the hands of the two giants.

"Move your arms and legs in unison and march to the music". It's a very literal language. You don't have to think very hard, just do what the music says, and you'll do ok.

Wouldn't call the uniforms medieval. That'd imply at least mail armour would be implemented. I'd say more something in the style of 1800s to very early 1900s. The Prussians in World War 1 and in the 1860s and such used a similar colour pallet, although the cut of the uniforms was obviously not inspired by the Asian æsthetic, and was far less ornamented for probably that exact reason. Also wouldn't call the SKS too modern, considering it was right on the brink of making it to the fields in World War 2 xD
