Pastor Shirley came to do a concert, not sing a sermonic solo! 😮. The presider looked like he wanted to stop her. He showed great restraint and let her do her concert. 😮 There might have been some crossed signals on what she was ASKED TO DO and what she THOUGHT she was asked to do. 😮 They had to get Bishop Bloomer to end the song (he signaled the musicians) then Pastor PICKED THE SONG BACK UP!! I’ve seen her in concert and that is what she did-a concert. I’ve never seen anything like this at a funeral!!!

There was a lot of wondering around in the beginning... Too many people touching the casket at the wrong time... One of the main ministers was reaching for the closing of the casket before the family came to say their last goodbye 🤔 there are some things that the funeral directors should absolutely have under control... And certainly ministers - things they should not cross lanes to do... So much talking and bad directives in the beginning. I was happy when they finally closed the casket so that some type of protocol could be exacted with out confusion... Even in the beginning... To start an upbeat praise song then to switch to total praise spontaneously was very lack luster and distracting... Lets do better church community
