I LOVE THE COLOR PURPLE. THIS IS MY FAVORITE COLOR TOO. MY BROTHER ANTHONY WAS MILITARY HE PASSED AWAY. HE TOLD ME ALL WOMEN LOOK BEAUTIFUL IN PURPLE. This idea is fine, just not so exciting. You need another segment where who either do a "make over" type thing - offer the school a better place to do the activities, create a new space, expand the project, AS WELL as the celebration. So the nominee gets the thank you but also resources to do their work better. Most nominees might think a celebration is a bit of a waste of money and a bit empty as a gesture. Rule no. 1 they never do it for the thanks. So please think about tweaking the show format. It's a good idea. But you're doing for the nominee what YOU think they'd like, not what THEY'D actually like. They want more resources!
