I remember Alan Carr talking about the Lindsay Lohan interview. Don't know if it's the same around the world but on UK talk shows most of the questions/conversations are agreed on in advance between the people running the shows and I'm guessing the managers of the celebs. Apparently Alan's team were told that Lindsay was happy to literally talk about anything but then in the moment she gave him nothing. It was sooooo awkward! (Also, his accent is "Northern" English, also very camp!)

She had a lawsuit and maybe even a death/injury (can't remember) resulting from it so the press she was getting around the years was I'm sure hard for everyone involved. I just feel sorry for some of the interviewers. Imagine your about to sit down with someone your a fan of and respect their work and your boss is like "ask em about ________ and nag them till they answer!" Clearly the guy who interview Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway was a psycho and you could tell something was off with him but, I imagine that is a lot of cases the interviewer is embarrassed to even ask some of those questions.
