The Russell Brand interview was a master class on how to clap back while still keeping your eye on the prize. Promoting his movie. To be fair, they were treating him like a thing and not a person. I'm sure they are not, but they came off vapid as hell. The Samuel Jackson interview made me wish they could have called a break. A break that could be seamlessly edited. I think if you gave him 5 minutes to workshop his material, he could have come up with an epic comedy set. I mean, even live, he did great.
