Welcome to another video from the celebrity ascent! This is a great option for solo cruisers but please watch to the end. This particular cabin has some serious issues that should not be ignored.

Nice cabin tour! First glimpse of the robe and it immediately made the thumbnail cut…too cute. But how you already breaking a brand new ship cabin!?! Besides your natural body oils there were only great things for this cabin. I know you enjoy your balcony breakfasts, did you experience any temperature discomfort since the interior climate control deactivate when the infinity balcony is open? Just curious. LOL. Yup I put the bathrobe on just to see if you would notice this video lol. For the climate control, it was fine once they fixed the window. When it's down, everything shuts off so it was really hot.

You broke it! LOL! No, but I didn't know about the sensor for the window. I was on the same side, but forward. No noise from below. I absolutely LOVED this room. And I learned that there are a variety of obstruction percentages for the solo cabins. From 5% - 50% I think. I'm interested in how these compare to NCL's new balcony solo cabins.

I agree. I loved this room! That's good to know about the percentages. I was curious how they broke them up. I still think my solo balcony on Odyssey was the best room I've ever had but I am curious about NCL as well. I mean, they started the solo cruising program and now they are getting outdone lol.

I was in 6146 on the Ascent's inaugural cruise. Loved it, except it needs more storage.

I was in 6224 on the same sailing and had that same sewage smell. Good overview of this room type.

I can imagine that the Room Stewards were VERY busy helping other cruisers (with Inifinite Verandas) rectify the same problem with their windows. The sensor is a great idea, but it might be too sensitive.

Yes I can only imagine. It's a great feature but I think they didn't think it through. I have a feeling they will be replacing the sensors lol.

You're welcome. I believe they have some that can. The balconies come in various sizes depending on the which room is booked.

Hello! Quick question - looking at the deck plans on the Celebrity website it doesn't show this room (6225) above The Club (looks like the rooms above the club are 6136-6151). Just wanted to double check if that is wrong? Thanks for your help!
