It feels like an overview room with floor to ceiling window. Like the new decor.

YES! Our thoughts exactly! And we were fine with it, as we enjoyed having more interior space when the window was up. Please feel free to email me if I can help price and plan your next cruise vacation: Alex@TravelGuyTravel.com

Totally agree. It's a glorified window, in my opinion, but we still love it.

You don’t have to move the chairs. Arrange them facing each other with the table in the middle. Works perfect

Good Infinite Balcony review. Still a no-go for us since She likes to sleep in and I like to watch the ship pull into port. We'll wait to see if the address that in the Apex or Beyond.

Yeah, we initially debated as to whether it was a balcony or a window. We reached a verdict when I asked my wife, "Should I roll down the window?" It's a window.

@@TravelGuyTravel Isn't there a folding door that separates the "balcony" from the rest of the cabin so you can have the effect of sitting on the balcony?
@TravelGuyTravel5 жыл бұрын
Yes, but we found the door to be useless. Always had it opened. The only reason to close it is if only ONE of us wanted the window down.

Thanks so much for this video. I'm considering joining some friends on the inaugural Apex cruise who took the inaugural Edge cruise and absolutely loved it. It's been a debate on the type of cabin to get and this seems like a good splurge.

Hmm. Not really impressed with the room. I was on the Celebrity Reflection concierge class( below aqua class) and my stateroom looked very similar in size and amenities. Also had the traditional open balcony which I prefer to the infinity style.

Great video. I've never been on a Celebrity cruise but after watching your video I may have to give it a try.

Disappointed that no outside balcony to our stateroom, but instead inside. We like the Equinox better. Upscale shops on board? nah . Specialty restaurant? we initially signed up but at $55 each with not much of a menu, we cancelled. No Catholic mass on Sunday...boo Celebrity Yeah Holland America. We did 9 days ...won't be back on this ship again. Going to try Reflections in January. The Comedians were EXCELLENT. Also thanks for a meeting room every day for Friends of Bill W.

cabin seems small and narrow. My inside on the equinox was bigger

Which one more value for money, this aqua class or suite class?
@TravelGuyTravel4 жыл бұрын
HI Valiant! It depends on what you value, I suppose. We like Aqua because of the location (higher deck), access to the thermal suites and BLU. BLU feels like a specialty restaurant to us, as the service has always been fantastic! I would love to discuss this with your further if I can help you with your cruise planning: Alex@TravelGuyTravel.com

Do those glass doors close? To separate the veranda area and the room itself?
@TravelGuyTravel5 жыл бұрын
Hi brooklynLs, yes, the glass doors close. We just didn't see the need to close them at all. Let me know if you want to chat about any other specifics - Alex@TravelGuyTravel.com

Two things I don't like about the Edge: I don't like the balcony. Looks far too small, and doesn't give one the feeling of being outside in the fresh air like a normal ship balcony. And I do not like the fact that the ship (or any other Celebrity ship) has no therapy pool in the spa. Enough with the fancy showers! Give me a therapy pool!

Is there a dress code for the BLU restaurant? I am in a discussion with my wife about this. I say going in to dinner there with a nice pair of dress shorts (and I mean men, not ladies) and a collared shirt with nice tennis shoes would be OK. She said no shorts allowed at dinner. Does anyone know for sure?
@TravelGuyTravel5 жыл бұрын
It is casual. No shorts, though. Jeans are fine.

It feels like the opinion is split. Honestly, it's more like a window than a balcony. We did love it, however, and would definitely book one again!
