Love this ship - we sailed on it in Aug 2019 with 'Capt Kate' and are sailing again on it in Feb 2024. We've even booked the exact same room that we had in 2019 again as the location was so good. Looking forward to it so much.

Kiwi weather isn't that warm in Nov but you might be able to go ICE skating 'on' the pool. Don't believe that last statement - of course, the pool will be great for swimming in at that time of year!! - Have fun

What is the general ambiance like on the Celebrity Edge? Eg is there music playing everywhere you go? Or is fairly quiet?

Lively and vibrant in most parts of the ship. You can go to quite secluded areas for peace and relaxing times or have a bit of a 'wild time' in the Martini Bar plus many other parts of the ship if you like. Background music is played in a lot of areas but not everywhere. There is plenty of space all over the ship as there are only about 2,800 guests onboard so it's not overly busy with crowded areas. When we were on the Edge in Aug 2019, Capt Kate was looking after the ship and we had quite a few conversations with her as she did her daily 'walk around' with quests. She has now been given the helm on the new Celebrity Beyond so unfortunately won't be on the Edge when we sail again in Feb 2024
