It is so funny reading the comments reflecting different people's preferences, particularly on the narration. For me, it is fine ... the sound quality and pace of speech are toned down enough to let the visuals of the video (the most important part of this presentation) shine through. This is the first time I watch any video produced by this channel author, and I honestly don't perceive any distracting or annoying "speech inflection". Someone else doesn't like the music, again I differ ... I really dig the music, particularly toward the last part of the video presenting the shows and dancing. Plus, I don't think the music is too loud at all or drowning out the narration. Very nice review and tour of the ship. I would love to cruise on it if it does come to NYC.

Great video. You confirmed for me that I made the right decision cancelling my trip on the Edge to return to the Equinox. This ship looks like too much work and too many upcharges.

Nice video. I HATE that there is no observation lounge. I mean, they could have sacrificed some of the retreat space for us “little” people. I mean, do the suite people have to have 2 stories of outdoor space AND a lounge. It seems like there is no really nice place in the forward part of the ship for non-suite people to sit and enjoy the views. Disappointing.

I love the very neutral, non-judgmental readings of observations, treating "this was our favorite bar" just like one of the dining rooms' decor being "borderline tacky". Lets us know what you really thought while still letting us draw our own conclusions from the detailed footage.

The video is good. But the commentary is horrible. I had difficulty understanding the super fast pace and burst of speech which is so annoying! I had to use CC - that helped a bit. Next time, hire a good commentator who knows how to present materials in a professional and more understanble way.

Russ is absolutely right. The way he narrates has a VERY weird inflection that makes it sound like he’s trying to be funny. Listen to it objectively and you’ll notice it. It’s unbearably distracting.

I completely agree. As a vocalist, diction is very important. You have to use a normal voice when doing voice overs. This was unbearable.

The computerized-sounding voiceover is unpleasant to grating -- hard to hear with its predictable rise on the next to last syllable. Had to turn it off. This is no review, but an extended commercial, aimed mostly at wealthier clientele (what isn't?). Is the implication that a surrender to robotics is a kind of erotic thrill? Do us older folk get robotic --um-- toys? Should just call this "Pitch and Roll on the Edge". I was considering this cruise; I'll have to get a more down to Earth presentation or look elsewhere. The promo agency should be changed.
