How interesting that this is the same beach that Virgin goes to for their beach party! I thought that pool looked familiar. The drink prices at that beach club were ridiculous! Loved the wonderfully clear water and the evening entertainment looked fun too.

If anyone is wondering if the beach club is accessible, yes. I was on a scooter last December and you can ride all around the pools, to the eating places and down to the beach. There is a wooden walkway that surrounds the property. The walkway only goes so far, not down to the water.

Bimini is beautiful. We went to Paradise Beach and got bitten by some unknown, invisible critters. Still have the scars from mid-August. Loved Rendezvous. Jerome was our favorite bartender. Would return to that ship in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing.😎

Could be sea butterflies, which we have run into a couple of times. But they are known for having jellyfish during certain times of the year.

Them drinks were FAR too expensive! wow! I was looking at hopping over there on the shuttle ferry and hanging out for a day but dang, not when it's that expensive. Might as well get on a cruise ship!

Go to the free beach, the resort is an upcharge so the prices reflect the same as "resort" pricing. I'm with you on the cost though, ouch.

Funny, I personally dislike wide-angle video, which is why I always set the GoPro to “linear” though it still has some warping at the outer edges that hurts my brain, ha ha… :P ~Jay

Tech talk, for Mr. Jay: An idea for Air Snorkeling. Use a polarizing filter on the camera's lens and adjust it when looking at the water, to remove all reflections. (Colors will be punchier too.) Side note: For our 40th anniversary sail on Regent/Seven Seas Mariner, next week (Alaska), we splurged on a pair of Canon 10x42 image stabilized binoculars. Works like a charm. And, we bought little polarizing filters for each of its lenses, and a lens hood to fit the polarizing filters. Now all we have to do to adjust the POL filter is to rotate the lens hoods. The result is spectacular. Keep up the great videos! We love every one of them! I hope one day our paths will cross.

As always, enjoyed your video. Question as we will be going on the Beyond in about 40 days. We also will have the Elite status -carry over from Royal Caribbean. The drinks you get for the Elite status, is it from the diamond lounge (or equivalent)? Or can you get drinks at most bars? Also does it cover the dining room for the drinks? Only between 5-7pm right?

We went to Bimini last year as a substitute for Grand Turks. Not very impressed but now I think I would try it again with the ability to visit Resorts World beach.

I'm scared to watch. On our Bahamas cruise, our Bimini Port was cancelled due to wind and rough water conditions...lol. We missed out....it looks very nice!

I have been to the beach club twice and never saw a lot of fish. Maybe it's because the sandy ocean bottom as packed hard like concrete. It makes getting in and out of the ocean very easy, but probably isn't conducive to having lots of marine life.

Bimini is a way cool place!! Wow, here I thought this was an 'exclusive' resort ONLY for Virgin..Seeing this footage I was like,'hey, I was there on my Scarlet Lady cruise!!'..Of course when Virgin is there they DO put up a BUNCH of logo stuff to make it appear as if it IS a Virgin only place. With Virgin a visit to the resort is included in the cruise fare(as far as I remember..I don't recall paying extra for it, so I presume it was included in my cruise fare)

I guess some of these Celebrity cruises haven’t been as big a draw as some of the other cruise lines maybe. It wasn’t capacity controlled from what we could tell. They just didn’t have folks booking.

Do you mean the menus ashore at Bimini? Those are not included in Celebrity, just as most food/drink items in any port of call are not included. Virgin Voyages owns the beach club there at Bimini, so you do get more inclusions at the beach club when sailing with them.
