Celebrity Reflection Day 8: Preparing to Leave & Staying in Florida

Day 8 of our Celebrity Reflection cruise is at sea. The next day is disembarkation day, and information on how to leave the cruise ship is provided in our stateroom. We prepared our luggage to be carried to the terminal for easier travel (optional) and settled the bills on our accounts. We enjoyed the jazz band before having a farewell dinner where all the staff, including captain and head chef, came out to say goodbye. The final show was Euphoria, a spectacular mix of song covers coupled with acrobatic stunts and inflatable creatures.
On disembarkation day, we woke up early and were at Terminal 29 in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. We had breakfast at the Oceanview cafe and didn't wait long before we were allowed to leave the ship. Once in the terminal, we picked up our luggage and had to go through customs.
We stayed in Florida for one night and drove around the area before flying back to Toronto. There were some cool places like Dania Beach, Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, Hard Rock Hotel and the Whiskey Creek Hideout that were nearby for us to explore. My grandma tried Panda Express for the first time and said it was pretty good.
This series is from my family vacation a year ago when my grandma decided to treat our family to a Western Caribbean cruise during the New Year (2023). This was our first cruise after the pandemic and it had been 4 years since our last cruise. Thanks for watching my cruise vlog!

Hi, TurtleTang. Nice video. Did everyone like Panda Express? That is like eating McDonald's in China. LOL. I got back from China in November and am still posting on my fischman26 channel. I didn't spend much time in Jiangmen. I will visit my brother in Florida in a few months on the west coast of Florida. Thanks for sharing.
